Description
Michael Daye makes a promise to his dying friend to look out for his wife Emily and daughter Amy, who are white. As fate wouldhave it, Emily becomes incapacitated and Michael finds himself responsible for Amy's care. When Amy's relatives object becausehe's black and his fiancee gives him an ultimatum, Michael must decide if he will honor his promise or cave to the pressures around him.
