Preschool Storytime

  • Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 10:30 AM
  • Location: Bowcutt Room
  • Intended Audience: 3-5 year-olds and their significant adults
  • Preschool story time is ½ hour of active participation in stories, songs, puppets, and movement for three to five year olds and their significant adults.  It is designed to help parents prepare their child to be a lifelong reader and problem solver. Each story time is followed by a simple craft that lets kids experience the ideas in the story time in a hands-on activity.
  • In preschool story time we embrace the five early literacy practices recommended by Utah kids Ready to Read. These practices are Talk, Sing, Read, Write and Play.  Each of these practices helps young children gain early literacy skills that will serve them well once they begin kindergarten.
  • No registration is required.
