The Deseret News is a subsidiary of the Deseret Management Corporation, which is owned by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. There are four ways to access the Deseret News: Utah Newspapers (2004-Present), ProQuest Global Newsstream (2003-Present), Utah Digital Newspapers (1850-1888), and Google News (1830s-2000s).

The Salt Lake Tribune is a newspaper published in Salt Lake City, Utah. The Tribune is owned by The Salt Lake Tribune, Inc. a non-profit corporation. There are four ways to access The Tribune: Utah Newspapers (2004-Present), ProQuest Global Newsstream (1990-Present), Utah Digital Newspapers (1871-1919), and The Salt Lake Tribune Website – IN-LIBRARY USE ONLY (Current).
Utah Digital Newspapers currently contains 3.5 million pages from nearly 200 newspapers. Thanks to an agreement with Ancestry's Newspapers.com, we are currently pursuing a three-year project to digitize all remaining Utah newspapers.
